Consiglio, Dankovich Remain In Lead At I-A

Jasyn Consiglio and Josh Dankovich carry a seven-shot lead into the final round after closing Friday with an 8-under-par 62 at the 47th annual Italian-American Charity Golf Tournament on the Double Black Diamond course at Holiday Valley.

Consiglio and Dankovich claimed at least a share of medalist honors for the second straight round to post a team total of 119 (57-62). Nick Munella and Jake Dwaileebe, who fired a 12-under-par 58 on Thursday, remained in second place after a 2-under 68 (126).

Other top scores in the First Flight included Busty Triscari and Steve Johnson, whose second straight 6-under round of 64 brought them to third place at 128. Triscari also closed his round with an ace on the 140-yard ninth hole.

1986 IA champion John Trussalo and Tim Magnuson, along with Vic Tarana and Hadley Weinberg, moved into a tie for fourth place in the First Flight with each team carding rounds of 64-65-129.
