Sinatra, Leathers Lead I-A After Shooting 61 At HV

Today’s final round of the 52nd Italian-American Charity Golf Tournament won’t likely be without its share of drama.

Nine teams are within five shots of leaders Joe Sinatra and Dave Leathers, who fired a second-round net best-ball 61 on Friday for a two-day total of 123.

First-round leaders Tommy Tantillo and Nick Bell, and the team of Dave Foti and Nick Madden are tied for second at 124.

The teams of John Trussalo and Tim Magnuson, and David Munella and David Currie are tied for third at 125; and the team of Colin Lodestro and John Geisler are alone in fourth place at 126.

Tied for fifth at 127 are the teams of Anthony Cusimano and Chad Peterson, Joe Vitello and Colin Whitermore, and Jordan Ricotta and Ben Lindquist; and the team of Mike Schifano and Alex Johnson — last year’s champions — stand alone in sixth at 128.

The winner can come out of any flight.
