ELLICOTTVILLE – Peter Morgante and Jon Gren Jr. won the 2015 Italian-American Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday on the first hole of a three-way playoff.

Morgante and Gren hit a 4 in the playoff on hole No. 18, shot a 63-65-66-194 for the weekend to better runners-up Frank Baggiano and Bill Emerson who fired a 5 on the playoff hole and a 62-69-63-194 for the weekend.

Also in the playoff were First Flight champions James Panebianco and Salim Sarvaiya, who also shot a 5 on the first playoff hole, but lost on a second playoff hole to Baggiano and Emerson. Panebianco and Sarvaiya finished the weekend with a 63-65-66-194.

The Second Flight winners were Joe Vitello and Kevin Thorpe, who finished two shots back of the overall winners with a 65-63-68-196.

Sandy Volpe and Jamie Barton won the Third Flight with a 68-65-64-197.

The Fourth Flight went to Dave Munella and Jake Currie who finished three shots back of the winners with a 69-66-62-197 over the three-day event.

Brett Cappa and Derek Dawson claimed the Fifth Flight with a 70-66-65-201.

In the Sixth Flight, Anthony Cusimano and Andy Benson were the winners with a 72-64-70-206.

Joe D’Angelo and Bill Erickson won the Seventh Flight with a three-day total of 78-67-71-216.
