Panebianco, Larson Shoot 62 To Lead I-A: Five Teams Are Two Shots Back

Plenty of low scores were recorded in the first round of the 53rd Italian-American Charity Golf Tournament at Holiday Valley Resort on Thursday.

The tandem shot a net best-ball 62 to claim a two-shot lead over five teams that shot 64s. They were Chris Cusimano and Josh Nelson; Adam Gullo and Dylan Lundmark; Bucky Lombardo and Rich Shelley; Pete Morgante and Jon Gren Jr.; and David Munella and David Currie.

Shooting 65s were Joe Sinatra and Dave Leathers; Jasyn Consiglio and Josh Dankovich; Angelo Volpe and Jim Brown; Ryan Calalesina and Corey Schmitt; Lucian DiNapoli and Ryan Yager; Mike Prinzi and Cody Anderson; and Casey Digirolamo and Dusty Carlson.The second round is today, followed by the final round on Saturday. Nine teams fired 66s, five teams shot 67s and seven teams registered 68s.
