Charity Golf Tournament Cancelled due to COVID-19

To the Community:

It is with great regret that I send this letter advising you that the 2020 Italian-American Charity Golf Tournament, scheduled for June 11-13, 2020, has been cancelled. Based on the current COVID-19 Pandemic it is currently impossible to hold this year’s event. Our committee waited as long as humanly possible to see if the tournament could be played, however, the committee has concluded that health and safety concerns must prevail.

Out of concern for the safety of our participants and volunteers, we have agreed to cancel this year’s tournament. We intend to hold our 50th Anniversary Tournament on June 10-12, 2021 at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, New York. All players’ eligibility will not be affected by the cancellation of this year’s tournament and will began anew in the Spring on 2021.

Donations are also being returned. However, if you still wish to make a donation during 2020 it is greatly appreciated.

Our committee will continue to monitor the status for the Coronavirus Pandemic.

We hope that you and your family are able to stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you in the future.

Very truly yours,

George Panebianco, Chairman
Italian-American Charity Golf Association
